I came away from my appointment with Dr Lieberman happy because he had listened to me without interrupting and also gave good eye contact. It was obvious he had looked at my notes prior to me entering the consultation room; as l don't present as a typical patient with my condition, he knew what I was talking about. The treatment I will be receiving in the near future was discussed in full, which left me feeling very hopeful of the outcome. Looking forward to the treatment as hopefully it will improve my quality of life. My only comment would be is to carry on with what you are doing.

Dr. Lieberman is quite special. He is an active listener and leaves me feeling cared for. He uses an holistic skill of viewing me as a complete person and not just a condition. His skill is quite rare. I feel in safe hands.

Response from Dr Ilan Lieberman

hi I'm really sorry that your experience was not what you had wished for and that you felt the £11 spent on travelling to the clinic was wasted. The evidence shows that the biopsychosocial environment that patients experience chronic pain within has a great bearing on their pain experience and gives some guidance on how to approach a solution. Clearly in your case the reasons for these questions where not made clear and thats obviously not been helpful, apologies. Hopefully the ultrasound investigation that has been ordered may shed some light on some of the causes of your pain and if you choose to attend for follow up please bring along any questions that you want answered so that we can begin to get you on a path to rehabilitation. Regards Dr Lieberman

Icame to the pain clinic today 08/07/2016 for the first time. Idid not know what to expect and felt quite anxious. Dr Lieberman was absolutely fantastic. He listened to me and spoke to me in great depth about my condition, and also about future treatment. He completely understood what I am going through and was understanding compassionate and I left feeling this was the first step to feeling better. Fantastic cannot praise enough Elaine Cassidy
